PRE-SET ROUTES
Pousadas have created 10 pre-set 3-night itineraries to help get you started, with of course, the option of adding on nights at the beginning or end of the route. Pre-set routes can be started on any day of the week but must be completed in the order set out in the itinerary. Transport is not included and no refund can be made for any unused nights. No routes are available over the Easter or New Year period. They are available until the end of March 2012.

There is a €60 supplement:

• Friday and Saturday nights of €60 except for routes 8 (Nov to March) and 9 (all year). 
• 9-11 Jun + 22-25 Jun + 12-14 Aug + 28-31 Oct + 30 Nov-3 Dec + 7-10 Dec (all dates inclusive)
• Any day of the week, between 16 of July and 10 of September, on routes where there is overnight at Pousadas de Alcácer do Sal, Crato, Estoi and Porto.

SUGGESTED ROUTES

The following routes are designed to guide you through the 3 most important areas of Portugal, exploring different aspects of each region whilst staying in some delightful Pousadas. Each route starts and ends within easy driving distance of one of the 3 major airports: Porto, Lison or Faro and can be enjoyed comfortably over 5 or 7 days.
You can expect a drive of around 1 hour per day and no more than 2 hours occasionally, allowing you time to stop and enjoy some interesting sights along the way. Parts of the routes can be undertaken using public transport but a car is better suited for exploring inland. These itineraries are designed as a guide only and can be easily modified or extended.
