Situated right next to the warm, welcoming waters of the Mediterranean, near the northern end of the Costa Blanca, this very comfortable and airy Parador is 4 km from the seaside resort of Javea, beautifully situated between two rocky headlands. There are many beaches, and Javea is a good centre for all sorts of water sports, as well as golf, riding and mountain biking. Behind the town rises the steep peak of Montgó, now a National Park. The Parador itself is surrounded by lawns, palm trees and bougainvilleas, and there is a splendid outdoor swimming pool. The balconies of the spacious bedrooms look out across the beautiful gardens to the ever-alluring sea, and the Parador’s facilities include a gym, Turkish bath and sauna. The restaurant faces the sea and features local fish dishes, monkfish and shellfish soup, and various sorts of paella, including Fideuas, made with pasta noodles rather than rice.
