We especially recommend:

Alarcon - A spacious room in the original castle tower with private access to the turret-top terrace and canopied bed (see photo).

Santiago de Compostela - The Cardinal's room is palatial, with two king-sized four-poster beds, beautiful fireplace and lounge area, and many original items of furniture (see photo).

Aiguablava - At the very top of the Parador, this room has a spa bath and an enormous private terrace perfect for sunbathing and admiring the breathtaking views over the coastline. 

Hondarribia - This split-level room has beautifully frescoed high ceilings and views over the bay.

Oropesa - Located in the castle tower, this room benefits from seven balconies with views over the rest of the castle and old town, a king-sized four-poster bed plus a lounge area.

Malaga Gibralfaro - With a terrace roomy enough for sunbathing and dining, this room is at the top of the Parador with beautiful views over Malaga and the Gibralfaro castle.

Of the remainder of the rooms, most have separate lounge areas, balconies and charming views.
